Presentare il Maestro Vincenzo Bianchi non è facile a causa della sua poliedrica attività che tocca tutte le Arti visive, dalla scultura alla pittura, dalla grafica alla video-art, alla grafotecnica; ogni mezzo plastico-materico o materializzante gli è congeniale, tuttavia ora ci coglie di sorpresa con l’uso del laser. Per primo lo ha sperimentato non solo sui materiali tradizionali, quali marmo, ferro etc, ma, come se fosse un bulino, su lastre e tavolette, creando ipso fatto o il solco finissimo del segno dell’acquaforte o quello più greve e corposo della pirografia. Di lui ha scritto il Presidente del Parlamento Europeo Lord Henry Plumb: “Il suo nome, Maestro Bianchi, rimarrà nei secoli legato alla memoria di quel gruppo di uomini saggi che vollero lanciare il messaggio coraggioso per un’Europa unita, quando ancora era divisa e viveva nel dolore di ferite e di sangue. Mi complimento per la sua opera scultorea che sembra coprire gli spazi di un domani senza confini”.




It is not easy to introduce Vincenzo Bianchi because of his versatile activity that touches all visual arts, from painting to sculpture, from graphics to video-art and graphic techniques; any plastic, material and materialising means is congenial to him and now he takes us by surprise with the use of the laser beam. He has been the first to test it not only on traditional materials, such as marble, iron, etc, but even on slabs and tablets, as it were a burin, creating ipso facto either the very thin incision of the etching or the heavier and thicker mark of the poker-work.
Bianchi's most important works of art are dedicated to a theme that has always fascinated mankind: peace and brotherhood among peoples.
Bianchi is the author of the monument to Europe "The new lcarus", whose message for a united Europe was perfectly stressed by the President of the European Parliament Henry Plumb, on the occasion of his visit to receive this work of art in Frosinone.
The President of the European Parliament Henry Plumb wrote: "Your name, Mr Bianchi, will be linked forever to that group of wise men who dared to launch the courageous message for a united Europe when it was still divided and lived on the memory of wounds and blood. I congratulate you on your sculptural work of art that seems to cover the space of a boundless future."
